Preparation
4-(4-Hydroxyanilino)diphenylamine-4,-sulfonic acid?with Sodium polysulfide solution heating, in 105 ~ 106 ℃ under reflux 100 hours and then in the 70 ~ 80 ℃ blowing air, and add salt to make its precipitation. Properties and Applications
blue. Blue powder. Slightly soluble in hot water, soluble in Sodium sulfide, almost colorless. In concentrated sulfuric acid for cobalt blue, dilution after blue precipitation, insoluble in other organic solvent. Used for cotton, viscose, linen fabric and vinylon/cotton blended fabric dyeing, also used in leather and paper dyeing.
