Product characteristics and applications: As a polymerization monomer, ethylene glycol ester can be homopolymerized to obtain polyethylene glycol ester, and can also be copolymerized with other cyclic monomers to obtain random or block copolymers. It plays an important role in biodegradable polymer materials. Medical grade glycolide has applications in artificial skin and blood vessels, bone fixation, sustained-release, surgical sutures, and more. Industrial homopolymers of ethylene glycol have also been increasingly applied in the development of petroleum, shale gas, and other industries.
