Properties: Easily soluble in water (40%, 35℃), the aqueous solution is neutral to slightly acidic. When the relative humidity is below 60%, it is stable, and above 60%, dihydrate is formed. If the body lacks lysine, it causes protein metabolism and dysfunction, resulting in growth disorders. Due to its moisture absorption, lysine is often made into a hydrochloride; 1gl-lysine is equivalent to 1.25 gl-lysine hydrochloride.
