Yes. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is a technical additive (functional class: stabiliser) that can be used in premixes and feeds for all animal species without minimum and maximum content limits. In the opinion of the FEEDAP Expert Panel, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is safe for all animal species. The use of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose in animal nutrition does not pose a risk to consumer safety. The use of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose as a feed additive is considered safe for the environment. The additive is considered effective in feed for all animal species.
