What are the side effects of Valsartan?

Common side effects of Valsartan include: shortness of breath, cough , dizziness and light-headedness on waking, nausea, fatigue, diarrhoea, skin irritation , postural hypotension, hyperkalaemia, and renal impairment. Severe allergic reactions are rare and can occur if there is swelling of the face/eyes/lips/tongue. Contact your doctor if you experience severe dizziness, difficulty breathing, itchy rash all over the body.
