2.2.7; 3.3.1.3 Preparation of Compound Int-TG4

To a solution of compound Int-TG4-2 (1.14 g, 5.81 mmol) in methanol/H20/l,4-dioxane (16.0 mL/ 8.0 mL/ 16.0 mL) was added lithium hydroxide monohydrate (975 mg, 23.2 mmol) at 0 °C under N2 atmosphere. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 5 h. The reaction was quenched with 2N HCl and extracted with EtOAc. The organic layer was dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure. The compound Int-TG4 was used in the next step without further purification. (995 mg, 94%)1H NMR (400 Hz, MeOH-D4) δ 7.96 (d, J= 8.8 Hz, 2H), 7.08 (d, J= 8.8 Hz, 2H), 5.25 (s, 2H), 3.55 (s, 3H)
