ChEBI: Orantinib is an oxindole that is 3-methyleneoxindole in which one of the hydrogens of the methylene group is substituted by a 2-(2-carboxyethyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrrol-3-yl group. It is an ATP-competitive inhibitor of the tyrosine kinase activity of fibroblast growth factor receptor 1. It has a role as a vascular endothelial growth factor receptor antagonist, an EC 2.7.10.1 (receptor protein-tyrosine kinase) inhibitor and an antineoplastic agent. It is a member of oxindoles, a member of pyrroles and a monocarboxylic acid. It is functionally related to a 3-methyleneoxindole. |
