MAGNESIUM BISULFITE generates gaseous toxic sulfur dioxide in contact with oxidizing acids and nonoxidizing acids. Reacts with oxidizing agents to generate heat and products that may be flammable, combustible, or otherwise reactive. Can react explosively with strong oxidizing agents. | [Health Hazard]
