Naphtha, shale oil, hydrocracked, heavy alkylate. is a complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by distillation of the reaction products of hydrocracked shale oil-derived isobutane with monoolefinic hydrocarbons, usually ranging in carbon numbers from C3 to C5. It consists of branched chain saturated hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C9 through C12 and boiling in the range of approximately 150.degree.C to 220.degree.C (302.degree.F to 428.degree.F). |
