This compound tested in in vivo models of B16 melanoma gave a significant cellgrowth inhibition. The tumor cells show an ROS-mediated mitochondria-dependentapoptotic-type death in sub-G1 cell cycle. Iso-egomaketone seemed to generateROS in cells as well as upregulation of Bax and Bcl-2expression (Russo et al. 2015;Shen et al. 2012). |
