Hazard Information | Back Directory | [Description]
Polycarboxylic acid, sodium salt, with the chemical formula (C2H2O4)nNa2, is commonly used as a dispersant in various industrial applications. This compound, also known as sodium polyoxotungstate, is characterized by its ability to chelate metal ions, making it useful in water treatment processes, especially for heavy metal removal. Polycarboxylic acid, sodium salt, is extensively used in detergent formulations, where it acts as a complexing agent to improve cleaning efficiency. Additionally, it serves as a scale inhibitor in cooling water systems, preventing the formation of mineral deposits. Its versatility and environmentally friendly properties make it a preferred choice for applications requiring water treatment and dispersion capabilities in many industrial sectors.
| [Properties and Applications]
Polycarboxylic acid sodium salt has many advantages, such as being low poisonous, cheap, easy to get, and biodegradable. They have been used as free-formaldehyde anticrease agents, antimigrating agents, paste thicker, and nonfoam washing agents in fabric dyeing and finishing processes. The dyeing exhausting mechanism of reactive dye seems different when the inorganic salt and polycarboxylic acid sodium salt were used as exhausting agents in the dyeing of cotton fabric with reactive dye. As a weak electrolyte, the polycarboxylic acid sodium salt increased the dye uptake of reactive dye on cotton fabric by screening negative charges on the cotton surface and the effect of salting-out or hydrophobic combination[1].
| [Advantages]
Good compatibility with all kinds of cement, good slump maintenance performance of concrete, prolong the construction time of concrete. It has low mixing, high water reduction rate and small shrinkage. Greatly improve the early and late strength of concrete. The product has low chloride ion content, alkali content, and the durability of OuLiYu concrete. The production process of this product is pollution-free, does not contain formaldehyde. Using polycarboxylate water reducing agent, more slag or fly ash can be used to replace cement, thus reducing the cost. | [References]
