Naphtha (petroleum), polymn. is a complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the catalytic polymerization of a mixture rich in propylene or butylene. It consists predominantly of monoolefinic hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C6 through C12 and boiling in the range of approximately 65.degree.C to 220.degree.C (148.degree.F to 428.degree.F). |
