OCTYL CINNAMATE has been suggested for use in perfume compositions, and it has occasionally
been used in heavy Oriental fragrance types
such as "Shamilar” types, where Castoreum,
Opopanax and heavy-sweet wood odors are
connected to rich, sweet florals with a strong
emphasis upon balsamic fixative notes, also
