Labelled analogue of Trichloroethylene, a chlorinated hydrocarbon used as a solvent for a wide range of organic compounds as well as a solvent for degreasing. Inhalation of Trichloroethylene produces CNS depression resulting in general anesthesia. Trichloroethylene has widespread environmental exposure and has been shown to produce hepatomegaly and liver tumors in mice. |
