β-红没药烯性质、用途与生产工艺
β-红没药烯为无色油状液体，其不溶于水，溶于乙醇等有机熔剂。其具有温暖的木香、柑橘香、花香、果香、青香，和甜润的香脂香气。
β-红没药烯可用于调配柑橘、橙子、热带水果、香蕉、园柚、苹果、生梨等食用香精。
β-Bisabolene 是从芍药 (Commiphora guidotti) 中分离得到的倍半萜。β-Bisabolene 是一种抗肿瘤试剂 (anti-cancer agent)，可用于乳腺癌的研究。
