JF669, SE 是一种红色的荧光染料，可与含巯基的卤代标记配体在温和的条件下 (DIEA, DMF) 反应，一步形成 JF669−HaloTag (Ex = 669 nm; Em = 682 nm)。

JF669 undergoes rapid conversion to thioether product (<5 min to completion) in organic solvents, where the dye predominantly adopts the closed form. JF669 displays comparatively excellent photostability, retaining 97% fluorescence after the same number of cycles.
