Description
This amorphous aconitine alkaloid occurs in commercial aconitine and also in Aconitum napellum L. and A. Stoerckianun Reich. Other formulae which have been proposed for this base are C32H430gN and C33H4S0gN. Alkaline hydrolysis furnishes acetic and benzoic acids and neoline (q.v.).
