The Human Protein Atlas project can be subdivided into three efforts: Human Tissue Atlas, Cancer Atlas, and Human Cell Atlas. Biological Activity
Rab geranylgeranyltransferase, alpha subunit (RABGGTA; PTAR3) an enzyme th at attaches geranylgeranyl groups to Rab proteins. The activity of this enzyme is essential for hemostasis and platelet synthesis. Polymorphisms in RABGGTA gene have been observed in patients with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome.
