Dimethyl Azelate is used in analytical studies in determining particulate matter in air.
Uses
Lithium soap and lithium complex greases are the most widely used multipurpose greases. The fatty acid portion is most often 12-hydroxystearic acid, made from hydrogenated castor oil. Dimethyl azelate and sebacate have been used as complexing agents.
