Enzyme inhibitor

This prenylated phytoestrogenic flavonoid (FW = 340.38 g/mol), isolated from hops (Humulus lupulus), inhibits cytochrome P450 systems CYP1A2 and CYP19, or aromatase. 8-Prenylnaringenin also inhibits angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo.
