Biological Activity

TEX101 (testis-expressed protein 101) associates with urokinase plasminogen activator receptor/urokinase plasminogen activator complexes and might be associated with the degradation of extracellular matrix proteins. The biological role of TEX101 still remains unknown, although it may play a vital role in the acrosome reaction.
