Description

Fentanyl-d5 (hydrochloride) (CRM) is a certified reference material intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of fentanyl by GC- or LC-MS. Fentanyl is categorized as an opioid.1,2 It is more effective than morphine at reducing pain but is also more lethal.3 Fentanyl is highly abused and is associated with many fatal overdoses.4 Fentanyl is regulated as a Schedule II compound in the United States. Fentanyl-d5 (hydrochloride) (CRM) is provided as a DEA exempt preparation. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
