Definition
ChEBI: A phosphorothioic acid that is the phosphoric acid having two of its oxygen atoms replaced by sulfur atoms.
General Description
A tan colored liquid with a sulfur-like odor. Insoluble in water and denser than water. Flash point 167°F. Contact may irritate skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. May be toxic by ingestion.

Reactivity Profile
Organothiophosphorus compounds are susceptible to formation of highly toxic and flammable phosphine gas in the presence of strong reducing agents such as hydrides. Partial oxidation by oxidizing agents may result in the release of toxic phosphorus oxides
