Uses
Baxdrostat is a novel aldosterone synthase Inhibitor for treatment resistant hypertension and systemic Hypertension.
Mode of action
The mechanism of action of baxdrostat as an aldosterone synthase inhibitor demonstrates the inextricable linkage between sodium and blood pressure regulation. Baxdrostat significantly decreases aldosterone in plasma and urine, while increasing plasma renin as a physiological compensatory change.
