Solid electrolytes conduct lithium ions at room temperature and can potentially replace conventional organic liquid electrolytes, which are flammable and toxic. Tantalum-doping improves the electrochemical stability of lithium lanthanum zirconate (LLZO) by stabilizing the cubic phase at room temperature.
