Uses
Acetyl tetrapeptide-15 is a synthetic peptide used in cosmetics for sensitive skin. It is derived from endorphin-2 (Tyr-Pro-Phe-Phe-NH2), a human μ-opioid receptor agonist with selective antinociceptive effects. Acetyltetrapeptide-15 raises the excitatory threshold of μ-opioid receptor neurons via an endorphin-like pathway, thereby decreasing skin hyperreactivity and reducing inflammatory, chronic and neuropathic pain.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-15 is the reaction product of acetic acid and Tetrapeptide-15. It is a polypeptide that can improve the natural tolerance threshold of the skin, by improving the skin's tolerance to environmental factors, alleviating the discomfort caused by cosmetics and skin treatments, and achieving the purpose of alleviating skin sensitivity, this peptide is similar to a natural opioid peptide that can reduce the stimulation of skin nerve endings
