説明

A dimeric alkaloid found in Gentiana olivieri, the structure of this base has been determined from ultraviolet, infrared, NMR and mass spectral data. The alkaloid occurs in the plant together with Gentioflavine and Gentianine (q.v.) and is separated from these bases on the basis of base strength of the CHCl3 extract.
