2-(FMOC-amino)-4-bis-boc-guanidino)-L-butyric Acid is used in preparation of peptides containing Arginine and its two homologs. It is also used in preparation of Arylalkanoylaminoacetamides as blood coagulation factor Xa inhibitors.
