Description

3’-Methoxy-4’-nitroflavone is a aryl hydrocarbon receptor antagonist that enhances Cyp1a1 transcription by a dioxin responsive element-dependent mechanism. 3’-Methoxy-4’-nitroflavone differentially altered aryl hydrocarbon also showed receptor activity in mouse and human hepatoma cell.
