Description

4-(4-Fluorophenyl)pyrimidine-2-thiol is a useful heterocyclic Organic Compound. This compound is a monophosphate deoxyribonucleoside that has been modified to include an activator group. This modification allows for the phosphoramidite of 4-(4-Fluorophenyl)pyrimidine-2-thiol to be incorporated into DNA, which makes it a novel substance. 4-(4-Fluorophenyl)pyrimidine-2-thiol has shown anticancer activity in vitro and may have potential as a cancer chemotherapeutic agent.
