Description

H-Pyran-2,6-dicarboxylic acid, an analog of dipicolinic acid, has been shown to completely replace dipicolinic acid in restoring normal sporulation to a Bacillus megaterium mutant aspartic semialdehyde pyruvate-condensing enzyme.
