Description

1,2,2-Tribromo-1-(perfluoro-n-hexyl)ethane (CAS# 59665-25-7) is a perfluoroalkane synthesized by bromination, dehydrobromination and debromination of fluoroalkenes. 1,2,2-Tribromo-1-(perfluoro-n-hexyl)ethane is used in topical gels useful in formulations for pharmaceutical or cosmetic purposes.
