Description

Akt plays a role in signal transduction pathways of cell proliferation, apoptosis, angiogenesis, and diabetes. Akt1 and Akt2 dual kinase inhibitors are capable of sensitizing tumor cells to certain apoptotic stimuli, and inhibit Akt phosphorylation in vivo.
