Use
(1'R, 2'S)-Nicotine 1,1'-Di-N-OxideN-oxide is a derivative of nicotine. N-oxide derivatives of nicotine are a constituent of tobacco leaves, stems and roots. The metabolism of nicotine in animals and man proceeds by oxidation of nitrogen to form nicotine-1’-N-oxide and cotinine.It is reported that the ratio of these products may be used as an indicator of bladder cancer in humans.
