Use
4-Bromo-N-Boc-α-methyl-D-phenylalanine is used in the synthesis of α-ketoheterocycles as inhibitors of thrombin acting as anti-coagulants/thrombins. It is synthesized using similar methods as in the preparation of (R)-Salmeterol.
