PHOSPHATE GLASS is a term used to describe two or more orthophosphate ions (PO4-3) combined with the loss of one water molecule per two H3P04. PHOSPHATE GLASS is salts of polyphosphoric acid or pyrophosphoric acid, the latter being produced by the dehydration of the wet process phosphoric acid. PHOSPHATE GLASS is available both in liquid as well as solid forms.
