Description | Protectin D1 methyl ester is an esterified form of the specialized pro-resolving mediator protectin D1 . It is an intermediate in the synthesis of protectin D1.1 Protectin D1 methyl ester (333 μg/kg) reduces infarct area and volume and increases blood vessel density in the tissue surrounding the infarct in a rat model of ischemic stroke induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO).2 | References | 1.
