Uses	Rhein-8-O-glucoside extracted from rhubarb has anti-tumor, antibacterial and immunosuppressive effects.
Definition	ChEBI: Glucorhein is a member of anthracenes.
Biological Activity	Rhein-8-glucoside calcium, an anthraquinone compound isolated from the EtOH extract of Saussurea lappa root. It is a hPTP1B inhibitor with IC50 of 11.5 μM. It has antibacterial properties.
