Definition | Lubricating oils, refined used is a complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained by subjecting used motor oil to precipitation, filtration, catalytic hydrotreatment and distillation to remove heavy metals and additive components. It consists predominantly of hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C20 through C40 and produces a finished oil with a viscosity of at least 100 SUS at 104.degree.F (19cSt at 40.degree.C). |
