Definition | Heptene, hydroformylation products, high-boiling is a complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the distillation of products from the hydrogenation of isooctanal from the hydroformylation of heptene. It consists predominantly of C8-9 primary aliphatic alcohols, C14-18 dimer alcohols, C>16 acetals and esters and C>10 acid sodium salts and boils in the range of approximately 185.degree.C to 385.degree.C (365.degree.F to 725.degree.F). |
