| Uses | Anti-LCK antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1μg/mL. | | General Description | LCK (Lymphocyte-specific protein tyrosine kinase) gene belongs to Src family of protein tyrosine kinases (PTKs) and is localized to cytoplasm and cell membrane. It is mapped on to chromosome 1 at 1p34.3 and is organized in 13 exons, out of which, 12 are coding exons whereas one is putative 5′-noncoding exon. | | Biochem/physiol Actions | The protein encoded by the gene plays a pivotal role in the selection and maturation of developing T-cells.
