Uses | Src Kinase inhibitor 1. The results showed that SKI-1 induced significant apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner in cancer cells with high basal Src activation. Src promotes survival and invasion of lung cancers with EGF receptor abnormalities and is a potential candidate for mol.-targeted therapy. | Biological Activity | Potent, competitive dual site (ATP- and peptide-binding) Src kinase inhibitor (IC 50 values are 44 and 88 nM for Src and Lck respectively). Inhibits VEGFR2 and c-fms at higher concentrations (IC 50 values are 0.32 and 30 μ M respectively). Can be used in parallel with PP 1 and PP 2 to inhibit Src family kinases. |
