| ochnaflavone Usage And Synthesis |
Definition | ChEBI: Ochnaflavone is a biflavonoid with an ether linkage between the B-rings of the apigenin and luteolin subunits. It has been isolated from several members of the Ochnaceae plant family. It has a role as a plant metabolite, an antibacterial agent, a leukotriene antagonist, an anti-inflammatory agent, an EC 3.1.1.4 (phospholipase A2) inhibitor and an antiatherogenic agent. It is a biflavonoid, an aromatic ether and a hydroxyflavone. It is functionally related to a luteolin and an apigenin. |
