Preparation3-Aminonaphthalene-1,5-disulfonic acid diazo, and Naphthalen-1-amine coupling, again diazo, and 8-Aminonaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid coupling, product to diazo, in alkaline conditions and 6-Amino-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid? coupling, and then diazo, and 6-Hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid coupling.
Properties and Applicationsblue ash. Dark grey powder. Soluble in water as dark blue, soluble in ethanol. The strong sulfuric acid dyes for violet black, diluted into dark purple. The dye solution to join strong hydrochloric acid tresses, precipitation; Add thick still as dark blue sodium hydroxide solution, but have precipitation. Water-soluble general, sensitive to that fights. In dyeing copper and iron ion colored light basic unchanged.
