DescriptionChoisya temata H.B. et K. elaborates this alkaloid which forms colourless needles when recrystallized from EtOH. It has been characterized by the preparation of a series of crystalline salts and derivatives including the nitrate, m.p. 145°C; the sulphate, m.p. 196°C; perchlorate, m.p. 191°C; aurichloride, m.p. 177°C; picrate, m.p. 252°C; picrolonate, m.p. 210°C and the monoacetyl derivative, m.p. 231- 2°C.
