TETRAHYDROXANTHOHUMOL Usage And Synthesis
UsesTetrahydroxanthohumol is a prenylflavonoid and a derivative of Xanthohumol (X741950). Unlike Xanthohumol, Tetrahydroxanthohumol cannot be metabolized to 8-Prenylnaringenin (P712900). Tetrahydroxanthohumol was shown to have an improved antiproliferative activity against cancer cells. Tetrahydroxanthohumol also showed anti-inflammatory activity in human monocytic THP-1 cells.
