Occurrence | Ajacusine has been isolated from the ethanolic extract of the seeds of Consolida ambigua (formerly Delphinium ajacis). It forms colourless needles when crystallized from MeOH and is dextrorotatory with a specific rotation of [α] +65.2° (c 0.98, CHCl3). |
