Description | An imidozolidinocarbazole alkaloid, this base is found in Aspidosperma
obscurinervium Azembuja and is best purified by recrystallization from a
mixture of Me2CO and hexane. It is laevorotatory with [α] 25
D- 39° (c 0.62,
CHCI 3). Two methoxyl groups, a methyl group and a lac one ring are present.
