| Telomycin Usage And Synthesis |
Uses | Telomycin is an antibiotic that potently inhibits gram-postive bacteria. | Uses | Telomycin is a complex, high molecular weight depsipeptide discovered in 1958. The structure was not solved until 1968. Telomycin possesses potent and highly selective activity against Gram positive bacteria in vitro and in vivo when given by intramuscular administration. Telomycin is poorly absorbed after oral administration. Despite its structural novelty, telomycin has received little attention. | Uses | Telomycin is a complex, high molecular weight depsipeptide discovered in 1958.
