DescriptionAzido-PEG5-alcohol is a water soluble PEG linker containing an azide (N3) and a terminal hydroxyl group. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups.
Uses1-Azidohexaethylene Glycol is used to prepare heparin-like antithrombotics having perphosphorylated thrombin binding domains.
